The Moscow City Court found the defendant in the double murder case guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment in a special regime penal colony.
Circumstances of the case
The investigation established that the double murder occurred in 2023.
The defendant, whose last name was Quick, came to visit his friend and tried to steal money from his bank card.
However, the acquaintance realized that they were trying to rob him and tried to throw the defendant out of the house. Then he grabbed a glass ashtray and hit the victim on the head with it.
His common-law wife was present at the crime scene with him. In order to cover up the crime, Quick decided to get rid of the witness and stabbed her, after which he fled the scene with 700 thousand rubles and the passport of the deceased.
