A family of sorcerers terrified a Muscovite and stole her savings

A woman and a man convinced a Moscow resident that her sister was in mortal danger.

Fraudsters intimidated a woman and stole her savings, the press service of the capital's prosecutor's office reported on Sunday, November 24.

The investigation into the case of a 33-year-old woman and her 30-year-old partner has been completed.

Earlier, the couple met a 45-year-old resident of the capital on one of the Internet sites.

During the conversation, the swindler pretended to be a tarot reader, and the man pretended to be a dark magician.

They sent the Muscovite allegedly their photos, as well as footage taken during the rituals. In fact, these photos were taken from the Internet.

The family of false sorcerers had to spend 3 months to convince the woman of their abilities and the ability to solve any of her problems, including personal and financial ones.

The victim believed it after the scammers warned her about a curse placed on her sister.

The scammers assured that the relative would face a tragic end if they did not help her.

For psychological effect, the attackers sent the woman photographs of cemeteries and coffins and accompanied them with text warnings about approaching sad events.

In the end, the Muscovite couldn't stand it any longer and began following the false sorcerers' instructions. She transferred more than 280 thousand rubles to the scammers.

She subsequently contacted the police and the family of magicians was detained. The investigation into their case has been completed and the materials have been submitted to the court for consideration on the merits.
