27 Migrants to be Deported from Russia after Raid on Moscow Region Warehouses

It has become known that a raid was conducted on warehouses located in Sofrino near Moscow.

As a result of the inspections, violations of migration legislation were revealed.

This was reported by the official representative of the Moscow Region Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Tatyana Petrova, RIA Novosti reports.

Law enforcement officers were inspecting warehouses located in Sofrino.

According to Petrova, during the raid, 27 migrants were identified who were illegally working in the Russian Federation. Administrative protocols were drawn up against them.

It is specified that 24 out of 27 were illegal immigrants who violated the rules of stay in Russia. They will have to pay fines in the amount of five thousand rubles, after which the migrants will be expelled from the country.

Petrova also noted that the Moscow Region police are currently conducting an additional investigation into the employer who hired illegal migrants to work at the enterprise.
