Pillows and duvets may turn yellow over time.
This phenomenon is difficult to combat and the process can be unpleasant.
There are a few simple tips to keep your pillows looking crisp white.
Use simple and affordable products that will help solve the problem of yellowing pillows.
Water and lemon
Add lemon juice to hot boiled water and soak the pillows for 1-2 hours. Then wash them with regular soap, rinse and dry in the open air.
Prepare the soaking solution at the rate of: 5 glasses of lemon juice per 3 liters of water.
White vinegar and baking soda
In a bowl of hot water, dissolve ½ cup white vinegar and ½ cup baking soda.
Soak the pillow for 60 minutes, then machine wash. Air dry.
Lemon and hydrogen peroxide
Fill a bucket with hot water and dissolve ½ cup lemon juice and 200 ml of hydrogen peroxide in it.
Soak the pillow for 30-40 minutes, then wash and dry.
