Take 30 dry bay leaves. Place them in a hot frying pan and fry until they turn black and become brittle.
Next, remove the pan from the heat and wait for the leaves to cool. Then knead them with your hands until they become fine crumbs.
Add 2 crushed cloves of garlic, 1 tbsp. sugar, 2 packages of salt, 1 kg each. Mix all the ingredients and cut the lard (2 kg) into palm-sized pieces.
Each piece is rolled in the mixture and tightly placed in a deep dish. The rest of the curing mixture is also poured in here.
Then the lard is put into the refrigerator for 3 days. Then it can be shaken off and eaten.
