The first method is to use newspapers. In every apartment there is always a pile of old newspapers, which are ideal protection for the floor.
To prevent even a drop of paint from getting on it, newspapers are laid against the wall, overlapping each other, and secured with masking tape so that they do not come apart during the painting process.
The second method is to use a special film for covering. Take a roll of material and start unrolling it along the wall you are going to paint.
The advantage of this method is that the film can be unrolled to the width you need. To securely fix the material to the floor, also use masking tape.
