If a thick layer of dirt has accumulated on your soul, it can seriously complicate your life.
After a while, the plaque may become so large that water will stop flowing through the shower head, or will start to flow in small streams in different directions.
This defect needs to be eliminated. But, don't immediately run for a new shower head and spend money on it. You can remove the plaque yourself.
If water has stopped flowing through the shower, it needs to be cleaned. Not everyone has a build-up of scale on the shower head after a while.
Here everything will depend on the water hardness. The shower needs to be taken care of in a timely manner. Cleaning the shower head will take no more than 10-15 minutes. This does not require any special means.
First, the shower head needs to be removed. To do this, you need to unscrew the hose from it. Then the shower head is disassembled into its component parts using simple tools that are in every apartment.
Most often, the watering can is held in place by just one screw. In some cases, the screw may be hidden under a plastic sieve. Therefore, first remove the sieve by turning it in the right direction.
Once the shower has been disassembled into its components, you can begin cleaning it.
You need to take a small container for water, put all the elements in it, add a couple of spoons of citric acid and pour boiling water in there. It remains to wait about 15-20 minutes.
Once the time has elapsed, you need to take a brush and remove the remaining limescale.
All that remains is to dry all the shower elements and put everything back together. After the shower head cleaning procedure, it will work like new.
