We want bed linen, especially expensive ones, to serve us for years.
In fact, the durability of the sets depends largely on the temperature at which you wash them.
Let's figure out how to extend the life of your bed linen with your own actions.
At what temperature to wash bed linen
Choosing the right mode primarily depends on the material from which the items are made.
For cotton, a standard washing mode of 40-60 degrees is suitable. All stains will be washed out in this mode, and the fabric itself will remain intact.
But for linen, it is better to use a more gentle washing mode, not exceeding a temperature of 40 degrees.
Speaking of washing modes, most machines have a special program for washing bed linen by default. Usually it is called that.
If your washing machine does not have such a mode, then set the “intensive wash” or “cotton” mode.
