Sometimes flower pots can leave marks on the windowsill that are quite difficult to wash off.
But there are several effective methods that will help solve this problem.
And in this case, even the old window sill will look like new.
Vinegar and soda remedy
This solution will effectively deal with even old stains.
To prepare it, you need to mix water and vinegar in equal parts.
Then add a few teaspoons of soda and citric acid.
Apply to the stain, leave for a couple of minutes, then wipe with a sponge and rinse with water.
Soap based product
This product is also very effective in removing stains from windowsills.
The laundry soap should be grated. Then mix two tablespoons of shavings with water.
You will need about eight tablespoons of liquid. The result should be a fairly thick mixture.
If the product is too liquid, you can add a little more shavings.
Apply the product to the stain and add a little toothpaste.
Afterwards, we spread the composition over the surface and leave it for about 15 minutes. Then the product just needs to be washed off with warm water.
Baking soda and dish soap
The surface of the window sill should be slightly wetted. Then sprinkle a thin layer of soda.
Pour some dishwashing liquid and vinegar onto a rag. Then wipe the surface with it.
The soda should react with the vinegar. Leave it for 10 minutes and rinse everything thoroughly with water.
