Passengers who like to sleep on the flight to while away the time often choose a window seat.
However, guides warn against this, pointing out the danger.
Passengers don't realize they're not the only ones doing this, including children, the New York Post reports.
Many rubbed their foreheads, wiped their hands and other objects on the window.
According to the conductors, it is impossible to say how disinfected the airplane windows are and how often they are wiped down to avoid contact with germs.
Passengers are advised not to lean their heads against the airplane window because it is, at the very least, unhygienic.
If you decide to do this, use a napkin or paper handkerchief for this.
Among other tips from guides, the following can be highlighted:
- Do not wear shorts on a plane to avoid contact with germs;
- Don't forget to drink water during the flight to maintain your body's hydration balance.
Passengers should contact a flight attendant immediately if they feel unwell during the flight.
