Sweat can soak into the fabric that it leaves stains. The smell will disappear after washing, but the stain will remain.
You can remove such unsightly formations on the fabric using some simple means.
Laundry soap removes sweat from fabric fibers well. Wash clothes with soap. Leave the foam on the stains for 1 hour. Then wash in the machine.
Dishwashing detergent or bleach (non-chlorine!) are also suitable for creating an effective composition that removes sweat stains.
A teaspoon of the selected product is dissolved in a glass of water and applied to the fabric. After a couple of hours, the item should be washed.
Problem areas on the fabric can be wetted with a solution of vinegar in water (1:1) and then washed in the machine. Sweat stains are perfectly removed with hydrogen peroxide. Simply apply peroxide to the fabric moistened with water.
Place the item in warm water and wait for the reaction (hissing) to end. Then rinse with water and dry.
If the item requires hand washing, then use ammonia. Just a teaspoon of this product dissolves in water.
Aspirin copes well with yellow stains. A couple of tablets crushed into powder are dissolved in half a glass of water. The stains are moistened with this solution and left for 3 hours. Then the mixture is washed off and the item is washed.
If the stain does not come off the first time, the procedure is repeated in a slightly modified form. 2 crushed tablets are turned into a liquid gruel by adding a few drops of water. The gruel is applied to the stain and the item is washed after 1 hour.
Salt can also be used to remove sweat stains. For linen and cotton, a mixture of 1 spoon of salt diluted in a glass of water is suitable. A couple of hours after applying the product to the fabric, the clothes are washed.
For silk items, use a solution of 1 teaspoon of salt and a glass of water. Silk items are pre-soaked in a soap solution. Then apply the solution to sweat stains and wash after 10 minutes.
A good remedy for removing sweat stains is ammonia with salt. Dissolve a spoonful of ammonia and a spoonful of salt in a glass of water. Apply the solution to problem areas with a brush. Wash the items after half an hour.
Yellow sweat stains can be removed with soda. Dissolve 4-5 heaped spoons of soda in half a glass of water. Rub the thick mixture into the fabric with a toothbrush. Wash off after a few minutes.
