Upholstered furniture often attracts dirt.

However, just a few handy tools can help you get rid of stains on it.

Soap solution

The easiest way to refresh tired upholstered furniture is to treat it with a soap solution. To do this, mix water with laundry soap, fabric softener or dishwashing liquid.

The conditioner will refresh the furniture with its aroma, and the dishwashing liquid will perfectly cope with old greasy stains. Apply the resulting solution to a sponge and go over the surface of the furniture.

Vinegar

The first remedy for fresh blood stains is 2 tablespoons of vinegar per liter of water. Gently massage the stained area with a cotton pad and dry.

Soda

Spilled wine on your sofa? Sprinkle baking soda on the stain and leave for an hour.

Salt

Salt will deal with fresh grease stains in no time.

Hand cream

Did your child accidentally draw on the sofa with a ballpoint pen? Apply hand cream to the stain and remove the remains with a dry napkin. After a few manipulations, the art will disappear from the surface of the upholstered furniture.
