From time to time, a dirty brown coating begins to appear on the sole of the iron due to frequent use.
As a rule, a special product in the form of a pencil can help effectively deal with this type of contamination.
However, if you don’t have a pencil at hand, you can put your iron in order using ordinary household products.
In particular, you should use table salt, which costs mere pennies.
Remember this method
First, cover the ironing board with paper or newspapers.
Next, pour salt onto the resulting paper sheet, plug the iron into the socket and set the heat to maximum.
Then simply run a heated iron over the salt along the laid out sheets of paper or newspaper pages.
Important note: It is imperative that there is no water in the iron and the steam function is turned off while performing this method.
Previously, we talked about what toner does for the skin and whether it is really necessary.
