Wet cleaning
The next step will be a refreshing wet cleaning.
To do this, you can use special cleaning products for the sofa or make them yourself.
For example, you can mix liquid soap and water. You can also use shampoo or other detergents.
Using a spray bottle, carefully spray them onto the sofa and let dry.
Afterwards, it is enough to thoroughly clean the upholstery with a vacuum cleaner.
It is important to remember that wet cleaning is contraindicated for velour, velvet and microfiber. In this case, dry cleaning is necessary.
Stain removal
You can remove old stains with stuck-on dirt from the upholstery of a sofa using baking soda.
To do this, mix the soda with water until you get a thick paste.
We apply it to the stain and leave it for ten minutes.
Afterwards, you need to wet a sponge in a soap solution and wipe the stain.
Then you need to wipe everything with a clean cloth. To avoid streaks, it is important to ensure that the impact of the liquid is minimal.
