Every housewife knows that cooking food in the oven is quick and convenient, so they use it quite often. However, the oven gets very dirty.
When you start cleaning your oven from grease and dirt, you should remember some rules:
1. You can’t rub the inside of the oven with abrasives, even with baking soda.
2. Be sure to wear rubber gloves.
3. If a special layer, rough to the touch, is applied to the back wall, it should not be rubbed hard.
Method one
- Materials needed:
- Capacity (2 pcs);
- Water;
- Ammonia.
Procedure:
Preheat oven to 70 degrees.
Fill the container with water, put it in the oven and bring to a boil (up to 100 g). After it heats up, then turn it off.
It is necessary to pour a glass of alcohol into another prepared container and place it in the upper section. And move the container with heated water to the lower section.
Then close the door and leave it like that overnight.
In the morning, open and take out the containers with alcohol and water.
You need to take the baking trays and racks out of the oven and leave the door open to ventilate.
At this time, add 1-2 teaspoons of detergent to the ammonia and dilute it with water - 1/2 cup. Using a sponge (or rag) and this solution, wash away dirt from the inner walls of the oven.
Method two
To get rid of grease in the oven, you can also use a mixture of citric acid, vinegar, baking soda and detergent.
It is true that during and after such cleaning, the kitchen area must be thoroughly ventilated to avoid an allergic reaction.
Method three
You can take acetic acid, dilute it in a glass of water one to one; wet a rag in this solution and carefully wipe the walls of the oven. Then you should wait a little.
When the acid begins to act on the dirt and grease, take baking soda and sprinkle it on the dirty areas.
When vinegar and soda interact, hydrogen will be released, which will effectively and absolutely harmlessly remove ingrained dirt from the walls of the oven. After this procedure, you need to wash the oven again with warm soapy water.
Method four
If the oven's inner walls are enameled, the grease can be removed using steam. Pour water into the pan, add any dishwashing detergent; heat the oven to 100o. Wait for half an hour.
Turn off the oven and wipe the enamel coating of the walls thoroughly with a damp cloth. This method is the safest and easiest.
One more thing to remember: Before cleaning the oven, you should heat it up to 50o, then open the door and apply any cleaning solution to the walls.
If there is a fan built into the oven, you need to cover it with something to prevent the solution from getting inside and the contacts from getting wet.
If the oven door is mirrored, it is best to clean it with a hot soapy solution or some kind of window and glass cleaner.
And the most important thing is not to let your oven get clogged with dirt.
