At first glance, it may seem that the washing machine tray does not need cleaning.
However, in reality, this compartment of household appliances can and even should be washed periodically.
The fact is that over time, the powder residue remaining in the tray begins to harden and turn into calloused growths.
Ultimately, the resulting deposits prevent water from penetrating into the corresponding compartment.
How to clean a tray
First, you need to remove the powder compartment from the washing machine. Then you need to place it in a basin of hot water.
Make sure the tray is completely submerged in water.
Next, dissolve a glass of 9% vinegar in the liquid. If you don’t have any, 250 grams of citric acid will do.
Wait at least half an hour, ideally overnight. In the morning, simply scrape the soaked powder and lime off the tray.
If the procedure does not work fully, it can be repeated.
Follow these guidelines and your washing machine will serve you for many years.
