One of the most unpleasant phenomena is the appearance of stains from the iron during ironing.

This is a sign that it is time to clean the soleplate of your household appliance.

Without any special cleaning products, you can easily cope with this task with a couple of improvised means.

Cleaning the soleplate of the iron: steps

Initial cleaning of the iron involves treating its sole with toothpaste.

Take an old toothbrush, apply toothpaste to it and evenly lubricate the sole of the iron.

After this operation, you need to cover the sole of the iron with cling film or hide it in a regular plastic bag for 15 minutes.

Remove the paste with a cloth and enjoy its cleanliness.

At the second stage of processing you will need citric acid. For this, dilute 1 teaspoon of powder in 1 glass of water at room temperature.

The resulting solution must be poured into the iron, then plug the device into the socket and switch it to the steaming mode. This method allows you to clean it from the inside.
