Mix 6 parts water, 3 parts vinegar and 2 parts fabric softener together and pour into the fabric softener compartment of your washing machine.

Just like salt, conditioner can protect metal. Apply it to the most rust-prone areas and wipe.

To make the zipper open easily, lubricate it with a cosmetic product.
