Orchids are very capricious flowers that are quite difficult to care for.

Moreover, due to some mistakes, the orchid may stop growing and delighting with flowering.

Therefore, it is important to avoid them so as not to harm the plant.

Incorrect watering

Orchids need to be watered correctly. These flowers can suffer from a lack of moisture, but excessive watering will also be detrimental to them.

Because of this, putrefactive processes may begin in the roots.

Therefore, you need to water the orchid when the roots become silvery.

Poor feeding

You definitely shouldn't experiment with feeding orchids.

You need to use fertilizers that are specifically designed for this flower.

Also, you can't apply fertilizer through watering from above. It's better to dissolve the fertilizer in water and soak the roots in it together with the soil.

You can also use foliar feeding.

Violation of symbiosis

The plant may die if the symbiosis with mycorrhiza is disrupted. Therefore, various fungicides should not be used on the soil.

If you suspect a fungus, it is better to pull out the roots and carefully remove the affected areas.

Afterwards, you can treat it with crushed charcoal and leave it in the air for 24 hours.

In addition, it is advisable to replace the soil with fresh soil. Just do not forget to populate it with mycorrhiza.
