A yacht caught fire in the seaport of Sochi. RIA Novosti reports the details with reference to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for Krasnodar Krai and the general director of Sochi Grand Marina Dmitry Prozorov.

It is noted that the passenger ship burned over an area of 10 square meters.

According to the press service, firefighters quickly arrived at the scene. They successfully localized the fire.

It was also noted there that, preliminary, no one was injured as a result of the incident. The fire was extinguished with the help of people and equipment. The number of rescuers was 5 people, and equipment - 1 unit.

According to Prozorov, the fire could have occurred due to the detonation of gasoline vapors.
