The Ministry of Internal Affairs explained what happened in Kaspiysk on July 25.
The details were disclosed by the regional department’s press service shortly after reports of “people barricaded in the house.”
Law enforcement officers did indeed conduct special operations at several addresses, TASS reports. They were of an operational and investigative nature.
The safety of city residents is not in danger: “Public order has not been violated.”
There was no incident with "barricaded people". The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that this information is not true.
Operational activities in Kaspiysk have been completed. Security forces have checked several addresses. People who were evacuated earlier have begun to return to their apartments.

Their number is not disclosed, but it is specified that the security forces “acted ahead of the curve.”
