It has become known about the measures taken against the suspects in the murder committed thirty years ago.
Two men who, according to investigators, killed two children, were arrested in the Urals.
TASS reported the incident, citing information provided by the press service of the Sverdlovsk Regional Court.
The court has already remanded both defendants in the case in custody until December 22.
Both are charged with the following articles:
- premeditated murder of two persons, committed under aggravating circumstances;
- assisting in murder.
Circumstances of the case
According to investigators, the crime in which the two men are involved was committed in 1994.
Andrei Shevnin and his accomplice attacked two 13-year-old girls and killed them.
After this, the criminals took the bodies of the victims and left them on the shore of Lake Chusovskoye, which is located in Yekaterinburg.
It is noted that both defendants in the criminal case had already been convicted several times before.
