In St. Petersburg, law enforcement officers made a terrible discovery.
In one of the apartments on Pionerskaya Street, the bodies of a man and a woman were found, who had been shot at point-blank range.
The press service of the St. Petersburg Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported the incident on its official Telegram channel.
A criminal case was opened under the article on the murder of two persons.
Circumstances of the case
According to the investigation materials, the bodies of the deceased man and woman were discovered the day before July 15. The victims were in an apartment on Pionerskaya Street in St. Petersburg.
At the crime scene, law enforcement officers also found a PM pistol and ammunition for it.
The preliminary investigation established that the firearms found did not belong to the deceased.
The nature of the injuries indicates that the victims were shot at close range, almost point-blank.
Other details of the incident are still unknown, the identities of the deceased have not been disclosed. The investigation is searching for those involved in the murder.
