An arson attack on a transformer substation occurred on the Bataysk-Azov railway section. Details are reported by TASS with reference to the Western Interregional Investigative Directorate for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
It is noted that soon after the incident, suspects were found - two residents of the Rostov region, aged 17 and 20.
According to the department, the young people were interrogated. During the interrogation, they said that they committed the crime for money that was transferred by an unknown person.
They also noted that a criminal case has now been opened. The court has remanded the violators in custody.
It is added that work is currently underway to identify the details of the incident.
