Mass poisoning of people occurred in a social center in the Altai Territory.
Two dozen people were injured, the regional Investigative Committee reported on its Telegram channel.
The incident occurred on Thursday, November 28, in the village of Kalistratiha.
Residents of a private social center were poisoned here. One person died on the spot. His lifeless body was found by the center's employees.
Symptoms of poisoning were recorded in 19 more people. Several residents were hospitalized, two died in the hospital.
In total, 17 people are currently under the supervision of specialists.
The incident took place at a center that rehabilitates ex-prisoners.
A criminal case has been opened regarding the incident.
