The Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Karelia reported that the number of people poisoned by shawarma in the region has grown to 115.
It is emphasized that the victims were diagnosed with salmonellosis.
On its official VKontakte page, the agency writes: “Those poisoned are complaining of an acute intestinal infection.”

The regional office of Rospotrebnadzor adds: “The owner of the retail outlet where the products were purchased is prohibited from providing catering services.”
