The Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Karelia reported that the number of people poisoned by shawarma in the region has grown to 115.

It is emphasized that the victims were diagnosed with salmonellosis.

On its official VKontakte page, the agency writes: “Those poisoned are complaining of an acute intestinal infection.”

It is emphasized that the outbreak of salmonellosis occurred in the village of Segezha.
