The operational headquarters emphasized that the bags of fuel oil are being promptly disposed of.

The head of Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratyev, previously gave a forecast for the completion time of the liquidation of the consequences of the oil spill.

The governor reported that it would take about a month to clean up the region’s waters.

The incident itself happened last Sunday, December 15.

Experts previously stated that the incident would not affect the summer tourist season in Anapa.
