The Ministry of Emergency Situations has reported new details about the explosion that occurred at one of Dagestan’s gas stations.
According to preliminary information, at least 5 people died as a result of the incident.
The department shared this information on its Telegram channel.
The total number of victims at the moment is 8, of whom five died as a result of their injuries. According to preliminary information, one of the deceased was a child.
It is noted that four fire crews are working at the scene, and five more will soon arrive there to eliminate the consequences of the explosion.
Circumstances of the incident
An explosion at a station in Dagestan occurred during the day in the Karabudakhkent region of the republic.
As a result of the incident, the gas station building was completely destroyed, and the fire that broke out after the explosion spread over an area of 500 square meters.
