The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation will not open a new case regarding the poisoning of a family in Krasnoyarsk Krai

The Russian Investigative Committee reported that at present, the need to initiate a criminal case regarding the poisoning of a family in Krasnoyarsk Krai is not being considered.

It is emphasized that this is an incident in which four children died and two adults were injured.

The Investigative Committee explained: “The issue of initiating a new criminal case is not being considered,” as reported by Moskovsky Komsomolets .

As previously reported, the victims of the incident were parents and four children aged 6, 11, 12 and 13, respectively.

The victims were diagnosed with severe poisoning after eating chicken and dumplings from a city store for dinner.

Critical incident

It was emphasized that the children died as a result of a serious deterioration in health. They died in the hospital where they were hospitalized.

Subsequently, the Krasnoyarsk Bureau of Forensic Medicine issued a statement regarding the incident.

As the department explained, traces of an unidentified insecticide were found in the bodies of the deceased children.
