Investigators have launched an investigation into the disappearance of a seven-year-old boy.
The child went missing on July 26 while on holiday on the beach in Primorye with his family.
A representative of the regional Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported this in a conversation with RIA Novosti .
He said that the boy disappeared in the area of Bezymyannaya Bay in the village of Dunay.
According to police, the father and his two children came to relax on the beach.
During the day, the boy played with other children at the campsite and swam in a shallow river.
The child was constantly under the supervision of adults, but for a few minutes the man lost sight of his son.
When he returned to the pond, he did not see the boy there – he had disappeared.
One of the girls on the beach noticed a green swimming ring in the open sea.
Rescuers, police and volunteers have teamed up to search for the child.
Investigators opened a criminal case under Article 105 on murder.
