Two months after the terrible tragedy, the exact cause of death of four children became known.
Krasnoyarsk investigators have sorted out the situation that occurred in the village of Krasnaya Sopka.
Details were reported on Monday, December 2, in the Telegram channel of the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnoyarsk Krai and Khakassia.
Forensic experts determined that the cause of death of the minors was poisoning by substances contained in the insecticide.
The victims were three girls aged 6, 11 and 12, as well as a 13-year-old boy.
The children's parents were also taken to hospital with signs of poisoning, but doctors were able to help them.
As it later became known, a healthy child was born in this family on November 8. The boy was born one and a half months after the death of his sisters and brother.
Meanwhile, law enforcement officers continue to work as part of the criminal investigation.
Investigators will give a legal assessment of the actions of the head of the family. As it turned out later, the father treated the house with dichlorvos and did not ventilate the house.
