The Investigative Committee has opened a case of terrorism following a car explosion and the death of a serviceman in Sevastopol.
The incident occurred on the morning of November 13 in the Gagarinsky district of the city.
According to preliminary information, a homemade explosive device was planted under the car. This was reported by the Investigative Committee press service on the Telegram channel.
The search for the organizers and perpetrators of the crime is currently underway.
It is emphasized that the deceased was a captain of the first rank, chief of staff of the 41st brigade of missile ships of the Black Sea Fleet.
The investigation has begun to clarify all the circumstances of the tragedy. The necessary examinations have been ordered.

The preliminary version being considered is that an improvised explosive device installed on the bottom of the vehicle was detonated.
