According to information from the regional department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, which the agency shared on its Telegram channel, the incident in question occurred on November 27.
The 46-year-old woman had been abusing alcohol for a long time. A conflict broke out between her and her school-age son, during which the teenager attacked the victim.
The schoolboy kicked his mother in the stomach three times, which led to irreparable consequences. The woman suffered a ruptured mesenteric artery and died in hospital the day after the incident.
A criminal case was opened against the teenager under the article on causing grievous bodily harm, which ultimately resulted in the death of the victim of the beating.
The teenager is under a travel ban.
