A 3-year-old boy suffered at the hands of his mother. Now investigators are looking into the situation.
The staff of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Samara Region opened a criminal case against the boy’s parents, who attempted to take his life.
The department's Telegram channel reported that the incident occurred on July 3 in one of the apartments in a building located in a new residential complex in the Oktyabrsky district of Samara.
Screaming and noise were heard from the apartment. The neighbors called the police, who took away the residents' 3-year-old child.
He required medical attention. Local media reported that the mother allegedly bit off the child's fingers.
The boy was taken to hospital. He is under medical supervision, his life is not in danger.
Meanwhile, investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the incident, interviewing witnesses and questioning suspects.
