A Russian woman used a graphics editor to convince a Muscovite to give her the keys to his apartment.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Udmurtia reported details on its VKontakte page.

A Moscow resident decided to sell his apartment in the city of Glazov (Udmurtia). He posted a corresponding ad online.

A woman, a resident of Glazov, responded to it. The Russian woman looked at the apartment in person and agreed to buy it.

She sent the seller a receipt for the online transfer via messenger. But the amount in the man's account did not change.

The woman began to assure that the transaction was being checked by the bank and the money would arrive soon. The Muscovite believed her and gave her the documents and keys.

But neither the next day nor the week after did the money arrive. Several months passed.

The Russian woman continued to insist that she had sent the funds, but the bank had blocked the transfer or the transaction was still under review.

As a result, the Muscovite went to the police. After that, everything quickly fell into place. It turned out that the woman did not transfer the money, but forged the check using Photoshop.

The fraudster was detained. It is noted that she had previously been involved in committing a criminal offense.
