The Federal Antimonopoly Service has identified violations in the actions of Russian Post.
The FAS issued an order to the organization for restricting access to its information system.
The press service of the Federal Antimonopoly Service reported this on its Telegram channel.
According to the FAS ruling, Russian Post was found to have violated the law on the protection of competition.
As the department found out, being a natural subject of the monopoly, PR took advantage of its status.
To this end, the organization restricted private operators' access to its information system, which meant that they were unaware of the possibility of sending written correspondence electronically.
Since alternative postal operators could not learn about the subscriber’s consent to receive correspondence electronically, the FAS considered this step to be unfair competition on the part of Russian Post.
The organization received a corresponding order, since the FAS considered that such actions infringe on the rights of other operators.
