An incident involving an airplane in Sochi has become known.
A Ural Airlines flight was unable to depart to Kazan due to a steward who dislocated his shoulder.
Representatives of the air carrier’s press service shared this information with RIA Novosti journalists.
The incident reported by the agency occurred yesterday, Thursday.
During a demonstration of emergency rescue equipment by a senior flight attendant, a crew member suddenly threw his hand up while adjusting his life jacket.
This movement led to the steward's old injury making itself known: his left shoulder joint "popped out".
The man immediately felt ill due to sharp pain, and the plane crew had to call an ambulance.
Without a senior flight attendant, the flight was unable to depart on time. The injured man was taken to hospital, and the plane was towed back with 163 passengers on board.
The flight departed for Kazan with a 1 hour delay.
