Plane crashes during air show in France: pilot dies

A collectible plane crashed into the water during an air show in France.

The pilot died because the plane was not equipped with an ejection seat.

The incident occurred in southeastern France, reports Figaro . An air show with patrol aircraft was taking place there.

The Fouga Magister CM-170 aircraft, which belonged to the French Air Force from 1964 to 1980, crashed into the sea with the pilot.

The air show was interrupted. Rescuers arrived at the coast and began searching.

After some time, they reached the crashed plane and discovered the lifeless body of the pilot.

The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation. Experts have yet to determine the cause of the disaster.
