A resident of Yekaterinburg committed a series of robberies using the same trick.

Details were reported on the Telegram channel of the Sverdlovsk Region Prosecutor's Office.

A trial of a man born in 1979 took place in Yekaterinburg.

From 2015 to 2023, he robbed twelve banks in the Urals, taking a total of 39.8 million rubles from them.

“For the job,” the defendant took an object that visually resembled a pistol.

His criminal wardrobe included sunglasses and a mask.

But the main detail was another. Before each robbery, the man grew a beard, which he shaved off immediately after committing the next crime.

This is how he managed to remain free until 2023 and spend millions of rubles obtained illegally.

It was only in March of last year that the man was detained by law enforcement officers.
