The Omsk resident who admitted his guilt was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment, while the state prosecutor insisted on a 9-year prison term.

The defendant admitted his guilt in full, insisting that he did not want to kill his opponent, and also paid compensation in the amount of 1.5 million rubles. The money was received by the son of the murdered man.
Taking into account mitigating circumstances, the court sentenced the man to 4 years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony.

It is noted that the wedding with a fatal outcome took place on May 19 in Omsk.
During the feast, the victim constantly violated public order and threw food at those present, and also used foul language.
The defendant in the case hit his guest several times, which is why the man was taken to hospital and died there from his injuries three days after the incident.
