New details have emerged regarding the death of a 12-year-old girl on a train near Penza.
Nurses accused of minor's death to face trial.
The regional department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Tyumen region reported this on its Telegram channel.
The case under the article on causing death by negligence has already been referred to court for consideration on the merits. The medical workers could face up to three years in prison.
Circumstances of the incident
We are talking about a death that occurred in December last year.
125 children, accompanied by 11 adults, were traveling on the Tyumen-Adler train. It turned out that some of them showed symptoms of influenza, which later turned out to be influenza A.
One of the 12-year-old girls became ill, the train proceeded to the Kolyshley station in the Penza region. Despite the fact that a team of doctors arrived at the station, they were unable to save the child.
According to the investigation, the blame for this lies with two medical workers who accompanied the group. When the girl complained of feeling worse, the nurse gave her an antipyretic drug without taking any other measures.
