Eva Merkacheva, a member of the Presidential Council for Human Rights, reported that businessman Igor Kotelnikov, who was in pretrial detention center No. 4, has died.
It is explained that the cause of death of the detainee was heart problems.
Merkacheva, in particular, indicated: “At the time of his death, Kotelnikov was 52 years old. According to my information, death occurred due to cardiac arrest.”
The member of the Human Rights Council of Russia published this information on her official Telegram channel.
It is emphasized that to date it has not been disclosed under what specific criminal article the deceased was charged.
