The case of an attack on a police officer is not the only one in Russian cities.

Law enforcement officers in Omsk Region have detained a man suspected of distributing illegal substances. During the arrest, he wounded a police officer. TASS reports the details, citing the press service of the regional Investigative Committee of Russia.
This incident occurred on Tuesday. The scene was a gas station in the village of Ust-Zaostrovka in the Omsk region.
It is noted that at the specified location the man wanted to avoid detention, so he decided to fire several shots at the police officers. As a result, one law enforcement officer was injured.
According to the press service, the perpetrator was detained. He turned out to be a 27-year-old citizen with a criminal record in the past.
They also added that a criminal case has now been opened. The man could face imprisonment.
