A resident of the Solikamsk urban district, armed with an axe, attacked two young people.
The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Perm Territory reported on the incident on its official Telegram channel.
It is noted that the suspect, born in 1989, was identified by police officers, detained and placed in a pre-trial detention facility.
A criminal case has been opened against him under the article on intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm.
Circumstances of the case
According to law enforcement agencies, the incident occurred during the ethno-landscape festival "Call of Karma". The village of Seregovo in the Cherdyn district was chosen as the venue for the event.
During the festival, a conflict between three men occurred. The defendant in the assault case grabbed an axe and attacked his opponent with the weapon.
The criminal inflicted serious injuries on two young people, who were quickly sent to a medical facility for assistance.
