The woman decided that the man would come to his senses and return out of pity, RT writes, citing the Sverdlovsk Region Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The department stated that they had examined the footage, which showed a resident of Kamensk-Uralsky strangling a small child.
The police explained that the case against the woman will be sent to court.
The little boy is currently under the care of his grandmother.
Another video allegedly shows the baby's mother apologizing to the man for attempting to strangle their son.
In this way, the woman wanted to attract the attention of her suitor through pity.
