The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that it all started with a conflict between two men. Then the skirmish escalated into a mass brawl. The instigators of the conflict were detained.
It was also reported that investigators opened a criminal case on the use of violence against a government official.
It turned out that one of the participants in the fight grabbed the law enforcement officer by his uniform and pushed him away. The police said that he was a foreigner, but did not specify what country he was from.
It is known that the Iranian Foreign Minister drew attention to this incident. He discussed the incident with Jalali and said that he would monitor the developments.
