Four Russians planned to repay a debt of 200 thousand rubles in an unusual way.
They kidnapped a resident of Tyumen, extorting more than 400 thousand rubles from him.
The report from the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Tyumen Region states that the criminals have been detained.
Kidnapping of a person
According to investigators, on June 8, one of the accused recruited three acquaintances to carry out his criminal plan.
Four defendants came from Yekaterinburg to Tyumen to get back a debt of 200 thousand rubles from a Tyumen resident.
They beat up the victim and took him away in a car. However, they were unable to carry out their plan to the end.
An acquaintance of the victim promptly reported the incident to the police.
Police officers detained criminals and freed a young man in the Sverdlovsk region.
The detainees will remain in custody until the court's decision on this criminal case.
