In the Leningrad Region, doctors received suspended sentences for fictitious COVID-19 vaccinations

The punishment that befell St. Petersburg doctors has become known.

The specialists were given suspended sentences for carrying out fictitious vaccinations.

RIA Novosti reports this with reference to information from the Investigative Department for the Leningrad Region.

It is noted that the criminal group operated between March and August 2021.

It included health workers who carried out fake vaccinations, allowing people who did not want to receive the coronavirus vaccine to receive vaccination certificates.

It is noted that all members of the group were held accountable under articles on illegal access to information and impact on critical infrastructure, as well as on receiving a bribe.

Seven defendants in the case were found guilty and received suspended sentences by court order.
