The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Tatarstan reported that a child died in Tetyushi as a result of severe food poisoning.
Law enforcement officers opened a criminal case on the fact of providing services that do not meet safety requirements.
The Investigative Committee reports on its official Telegram channel: “The girl died on August 27 in a medical facility.”
It is emphasized that doctors provided the victim with all necessary assistance, but were unable to save the child.
Fatal poisoning
As reported by numerous social networks, in Tetyushi an eleven-year-old girl bought shawarma at a kiosk and ate it.
The child subsequently felt unwell and was urgently hospitalized.
According to information provided by the investigation, the victim was sent to a medical facility with signs of food poisoning.
Law enforcement officials have ordered a forensic medical examination, the purpose of which is to establish the exact cause of the girl's death.
