A pontoon was stolen in St. Petersburg. Details are reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the North-West Transport Prosecutor's Office.

An unpleasant incident occurred on Friday, August 9.

It is noted that four people, being intoxicated, decided to steal a pontoon. They were unable to cope with the controls, so the floating craft crashed into the support of one of the bridges.

According to the prosecutor's office, an inspection of compliance with the legislation on the safety of water transport is currently underway. This is being handled by the St. Petersburg Transport Prosecutor's Office.

It is added that no one was hurt as a result of the incident. No one needed medical assistance.
